The Therapy Process

Therapy with me provides you with space

and time to talk about your concerns and troubles.  This may be when you are feeling depressed, experiencing distress or dissatisfaction with life.

You could be struggling with your relationships or ways of being.  I believe nothing should feel too difficult or taboo to explore together.

I will not offer advice, or tell you what to do, as I believe you are the best 'expert' on you.

With exploration and new perspectives, this can lead you to greater awareness and new insights.

I understand looking at difficult personal aspects and showing vulnerability can be painful in the presence of another but with our developing therapeutic relationship, I aim to relieve some of that pain.

Therapy Outcomes

During our work together, I strive to promote your unique potential to the possible outcomes for you:

  • Greater awareness and understanding of thoughts and feelings.
  • Gain understanding, resolve or adapt to personal and interpersonal conflicts.
  • Make sense of and come to terms with past/present situations.
  • Have the ability to adapt to situations.
  • Feel less isolated.
  • Feel more calm and in control of your life.
  • Increased self-worth and self-belief.
  • A change of perception.
